Another suspect in Museum theft arrested
The Police arrested another suspect in the
National Museum theft from Maligawatta, Police Media Spokesman SSP
Ajith Rohana said yesterday. Police said the suspect was apprehended
with a gem studded gold ring, ancient coins and jewellery believed
to be artefacts.

Heroin trafficker caught
A former civilian labourer attached to the
Ambalangoda Police station engaged in trafficking heroin, hiding
packets of the drug in his possession was arrested by Ambulangoda
Police last week.
