Workshop on exposition of Sacred Kapilavastu Relics

A half day symposium on Relic Worship: History, Archaeology and Religion will be held at the Laskhman Kadirgamar Institute for International Relations and Strategic Studies (LKIIRSS) on August 20 on the occasion of the exposition of Sacred Kapilavastu Relics in Sri Lanka.

Indian Culture, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation Minister Selja Kumari will inaugurate the symposium. External Affairs Minister Prof G L Peiris will also participate.

This symposium is organized by the Centre for contemporary Indian Studies (CCIS) , Pali and Buddhist Studies Unit , University of

Colombo in association with the LKIIRSS.
