Rangammulla Eksath clinch National Elle title

Rangammulla Eksath SC emerged 2012 CSN National Elle Champions when they defeated Thotalanga Aruna SC by 12 players to spare in the final played under lights at The Sugathadasa Stadium on Friday.

Having won the toss Aruna SC opted bat first and scored 6 runs in the fist innings.

In reply Eksath SC got on to a fine start and went on to score quick 3 runs.

They were then slowed down by Aruna SC with wonderful fielding in the deep who got several opponents players out in quick sessions. Eksath scored 7 runs in reply.

Aruna for their second innings scored 3 runs all out while Eksath chased a target of 3 runs with only losing four of their players.
