The team of experts who created SMS
Security System from JAVA technology named TED were
felicitated at the Sambuddhathwa Jayanthi Mandiray,
recently. The felicitation ceremony was held under the
patronage of Deputy Speaker Chandima Weerakkody. The team
included the country's youngest engineer working in the JAVA
Institute Roshnal Lihinikaduwa and two Royalists Chamath
Palihawadana and Roshnal Lihinikadu.

Through Sri Lankan Eyes- Buddhist Circuit', organised by the
Indian High Commission in partnership with the Photographic
Society
of Sri Lanka was inaugurated by Scientific Affairs Senior
Minister Prof Tissa Vitarana
in the presence of Indian High Commissioner Ashok K Kantha
at the J D A Perera Gallery on Friday.
Prior to leaving Sri Lanka on
completion of the term of diplomatic service, Norwegian
Ambassador Hilde Haraldstad called on Irrigation and Water
Resources Management Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva on
August 9 at his ministry. Here the minister in conversation

organization called the ‘Sath Sarana Janahitha Foundation’,
set up to propagate moral and spiritual values among society
was held at the Central Bank staff Training College
auditorium Rajagiriya under the patronage of Kelaniya
Univeristy Chancellor Ven. Welamitiyawe Kusaladhamma Nayake
