Chaminda, Rajiva champs at Masters Athletics Meet

Sri Lanka Masters 26th Annual Open Athletics Championships were held at the Sugathadasa Stadium recently. Chaminda Weerasinghe of MAS Holdings (Slimline) won two gold medals in the long jump and triple jump for men over 35.

He also established two new records in these events. With this achievement he was awarded the challenge trophies for best performance in the field events and the best athlete of the meet. His teammate Rajiva Wijetunge of MAS Holdings (Slimline) won a bronze medal in the discus throw over 50. Here are Chaminda Weerasinghe and Rajiva Wijetunge of MAS Holdings (Slimline).
