A/L students able to get NIC today

The Registration of Persons Department would be kept open today (Saturday) to enable students sitting the GCE Advanced Level Examination 2012, to obtain National Identity Cards from the one day service facility, a spokesman for the department said.

He said the special facility is made available for the convenience of the students.

Normally, the one day service is available only on weekdays. The department will be open today from 8.30 am.
