Melbourne Bushrangers in two tied games
The “Melbourne Bushrangers” from Victoria, Australia is currently
making their second annual development cricket tour of Sri Lanka.
This invitational under-17 team from the Northern suburbs of
Melbourne consists of players who have gained state, regional and
district representative honours. They are led by Victorian State
under-17 player Thomas Goulding and will have two vice captains in
Nishal Perera ans Jack Rudd, both of whom were in last year’s tour squad
as well.
The tour is organized by former Peterite cricketer of the early
eighties and now Melbourne resident, Mario Roshitha Perera who also
functions as coach.
The tour squad is as follows: Thomas Goulding (Captain), Nishal
Perera (Vice Captain), Jack Rudd (Vice Captain), Joseph Lucas, Thomas
Emmins, Joshua Eaton, Justin Galeotti, Michael Collinson, Troy Haynes,
