Seventh Deyata Kirula Programme:
Development activities begin on July 15

Development activities under the Seventh Deyata Kirula Programme in
Ampara will be inaugurated by Hambantota district Parliamentarian Namal
Rajapaksa at Hardy College tomorrow.
Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa will also inaugurate
the district development activities on July 16 from Aralaganvila.
Deyata Kirula Committee chairman and Telecommunication and
Information Minister Ranjith Siyambalpitiya will also be present at the
inaugural ceremony.
In addition to these programmes, each ministry, will launch a special
project covering the Ampara, Polonnaruwa, Batticalloa and Trincomalee
districts.
A number of programmes will be held under the patronage of
Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa tomorrow. Foundation stones will also be
laid for computer centres at the Kotavehera Vidyalaya- Ampara, the
Murugan Vidyalaya- Central Camp, Ampara and the Al Asgar Maha Vidyalaya,
Samanthure.
Siyambalpitiya said around Rs 40 billion will be invested for this
task. |
