Havelocks should have it easy against CH and FC
Table leaders Havelocks Sports Club should have no difficulty in
overcoming the lowly placed CH and FC in their Dialog 'A' Division
League rugby match which will be played at the reconstructed Havelocks
Rugby Ground, Havelock Park today.
The Park Club who remain unbeaten have won all four matches they have
played so far beating Police (33-10), Army (25-22), Air Force (47-5) and
CR and FC (38-7) while the lads from Maitland Crescent have lost all
three games so far against Kandy SC, Up Country Lions and Navy SC.
The forte of the Havelock Park Club are their speedy three-quarters.
They have a fine haves combination in Amjad Buksh and Niroshan Fernando
while centres Williami Hakalo and Dinesh Kumara are hard runners who
should slice through the CH defence today while on the wings they have
the services of Peterite and Sri Lanka winger Sandun Herath and Royal
and ex-Sri Lanka Youth player Chamara Dabare with national player
Mohamed Sheriff who has the knack of joining the line to form the
overlap.
The lads from Maitland Crescent will have to put up a resolute
defence if they hope to prevent the pink and chocolate jerseyed lads
from going on a scoring spree.
