We recognize the need for transparency and
accountability in fisheries management by regional fisheries
management organizations (RFMOs). We recognize the efforts already
made by those RFMOs that have undertaken independent performance
reviews, and call on all RFMOs to regularly undertake such reviews
and make the results publicly available.
