Police fight back to beat CR and FC 36 – 28

A Superb second half rally by Sri Lanka Police helped them to beat CR and FC by 36 points ( two goals, two tries, three penalties and a drop goal ) to 28 points (two goals, one try and three penalties) in their Dialog ‘A’ division league tournament match played at Longden Place yesterday.after trailing by 17 – 18 at half time.

The touring Sri Lanka ‘A’ team scored 290 for 8 wickets at stumps on the first day in the second unofficial four day Test match against South Africa ‘A’ at Kingsmead, Durban. South Africa ‘A’ captain F du Plessis won the toss and elected to field first.
