Soldier nabbed with Ganja

A soldier going on leave from Mannar was intercepted at Murunkan and arrested with 23 bundles of ganja on a tip-off.

He was produced before the Mannar magistrate and remanded until July 11.

Another soldier was arrested near the Thalaiyaddy army camp with 990 grams of ganja on July 1. He was remanded on being produced before the Mannar magistrate.
