Two held over crime spree

Two persons alleged to have been responsible for committing crimes and burglaries in Galle were arrested with two hand grenades in their possession at Dangedara, Galle by the Galle Police Crime Investigation Unit on Thursday.

Investigations revealed that both were drug addicts.

The suspects were remanded till July 9 on being produced before Galle Chief Magistrate US Kalansooriya yesterday.
