Hat-trick of wins for Lankem

The Lankem team proved to be a force to reckon with after their third consecutive win against SwedishTrading played at the Prince of Wales grounds on Sunday 24th June. Bad weather conditions loomed over limiting the game to 26 overs.

Bating first Lankem scored 172 runs for the loss of 5 wickets, given an excellent start by their two openers who built up a partnership of 54 runs;

Dilan Sandagirigoda scored 39 runs from 25 balls whileDilum Harischandra kept pace scoring 35 runs.

Manjula's cameo of 36 runs from 17 balls exhibited some power hitting with 2 sixes and 3 fours. Purna Silvatoo added 13 runs to reach the total of 172 runs from 26 overs.

The Lankem bowling line up smashed through with DineshAlawathugoda grabbing 5 wickets in 5 overs giving away just 25 runs.

LahiruSrimal took 2 wickets for 27 runs.

Swedish Trading were bowled out for 134 runs in 25 overs.
