Bopara stars as England ease past Australia
Ravi Bopara starred with both bat and ball as
England coasted to a six-wicket win over Australia with 26 balls to
spare in the second one-day international (ODI) at The Oval here on
Sunday. England saw all-rounder Bopara top-score with 82 in a total
of 252 for four after taking one for 16 with five overs of his
medium-pace as Australia were restricted to 251 for seven.

Shane ICC Media Operations Manager
The ICC has appointed Shane Fernando as its
Media Operations Manager for the ICC World Twenty20 Sri Lanka 2012
which will be held in Colombo, Hambantota and Pallekele from
September 18 to October 7. The women’s matches will be played in
Galle from September 26 to October 1 with the semi-finals and final
to be played on the same day at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo as
the men’s semi-finals and final. One of Fernando's main
responsibilities will be the successful delivery of media operations
plan as per ICC requirements and specifications.
