SL-Italy business ties seen as firming

Sri Lanka - Italy business links will further strengthen in the years to come, Indo Italian Chamber Secretary General Sergio Sgambato said at a meeting organised by the Sri Lanka Italy Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. The meeting focused on import and export opportunities and challenges in the Italian market for Sri Lankan exporters and importers.

Sri Lanka Italy Business Council President Daya Rathnayake said Sri Lanka is positive in increasing ties with the Indo Italian chamber to have positive growth results in the near future with Italy. He said trade between Sri Lanka and Italy is on the rise which has shown encouraging results to businessmen trading with Italy.
