SLPA beat Vidyalians

Sri Lanka Ports Authority beat Old Moratu Vidyalians Sports Club by
63 runs on first innings in their inter-club under-23 tournament cricket
match conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket and worked off at BRC grounds. The
day two was washed out due to bad weather.
Taking the first lease OMVSC collapsed for 140 runs due to a fine
bowling spell by Oshan Kalhara who claimed 6 for 34 while Ishan Nilaksha
made 43 runs for the visitors and in reply Ports Authority were 208 for
8 at the end of day one with Udesh Nadiranga making the top score of 56
runs.
OMVSC: 145 (Ishan Nilaksha 43, Luke Jayadeva 28, Oshan Kalhara 6/34,
Samil Perera 2/31).

Saracens in close win
Saracens Sports Club pulled off a narrow two run first innings win
over Lankan Sports Club in their inter-club under 23 tournament cricket
match played at Royal College grounds. Resuming at 85 for 6 on day two
Saracens Sports Club made 229 runs in reply to Lankans total of 227.
Suren Silva top scored with 73 while Shenon Peterson contributed 42 runs
and Shenal Amarasinghe was the pick of the bowlers for Lankans with 5
for 77.
