because of the economic crisis. Sri Lanka’s economy is on the right
track. The public in Nivitigala is always ready to strengthen the
government,” he said.
The deputy minister was addressing a special meeting in Nivitigala.
He said the country was experiencing the benefits of Gama Neguma,
Divi Neguma and Maga Neguma programmes implemented under the Mahinda
Chinthana future vision.
“A host of development activities were launched in Nivitigala under
these development programmes. The country is on a development track. All
Sri Lankans should support the government to make Sri Lanka the Wonder
of Asia,” Jayasekera said.
He said the world is facing an energy crisis at present. “Sri Lanka
