Dambulla-Pirivena road impassable

The Dambulla-Pirivena Road stretching about three kilometres is impassable.

The provincial Highways Department has not taken action to renovate it.

Over 200 families living in the area are inconvenienced owing to the lack of transport facilities. especially the tourists on the way to the Dambulla rock temple. No action has been taken though residents informed the Central Provincial Chief Ministry.

They appeal to government to intervene in the matter.
