SLTB services resume

The Sri Lanka Transport Board’s Walapane depot has resumed its service from Hanguranketa to Kataragama.

Commuters are able to board the Kataragama bus from Hanguranketha at 8.00 pm every Saturday. It returns to Hanguranketa on Sunday, and commuters should board it before 9:20 am.

Commuters en route to Padiyapelella, Walapane, Ragala, Nuwara Eliya, Bandarawela, Ella, Wellawaya, Sellakatargama and Kataragama, will benefit from the resumed service terminated a few years ago owing to the lack of buses in the Walapane SLTB depot.
