Joes beat Thomians

St Joseph's College, Colombo 10, under 19, powered by next enterprises beat St Thomas' College, Mt Lavinia 5-0 in their Annual Inter school Soccer matches played at St Joseph's College grounds recently.

Joes, captain Sanjula Kalpa drew first blood scoring the first goal. The second goal was scored by Dumindhu Gihan. Joes led 2-0 at Lemons. After Lemons Dumindhu Gihan added one more goal to his tally, followed by Sanjula Kalpa.

In their under 13 match, Joes beat Thomians 2-0, at St Joseph's College grounds.

First goal was scored by SJC captain, Novin George with a superb solo run. Second was created by midfielder Dilan Kumaraperuma.

In an under 15 match St Thomas beat St Joseph's College 1-0. Ashwin David, the midfielder scored with a solo effort.

Thomians beat Joes in under 17 match 1-0. The goal was scored by Jadeal Jayawardana off a corner kick.
