Harsh scene enacted in Hakmana

The Hakmana Police arrested a woman who cut off the male organ of her brother-in-law and injured him. Police also took into custody the knife which was used in the incident.

The injured was admitted to the Andapana Hospital for treatment. The suspect is a resident of Malwathugoda, Puhulwella. She was produced before the Matara Additional Magistrate, Dulani Amarasinghe and remanded till July 5.

Hakmana Police are investigating.
