Maradana Police settles delayed dues

The Maradana Police settled a matter in which a person had neglected to pay dues to a businessman, for seven years. The businessman of the Kolonnawa area had issued a stock of motor cycle spares including cables to another in the Maligakanda area to be sold. But later it was found that the spares were not of motorcycles in the Sri Lanka market.

However he had refused to return the sum of money of around Rs 45,000 to the businessman for seven years. The victim had then complained to the Maradana Police and after inquiry, the suspect agreed to pay the money. The MO branch OIC IP Neomal Fernando inquired into the complaint
