Aspirations Int’l Academy to teach London University Degrees in Lanka

Aspirations International Academy announced that it has introduced teaching for University of London International Programmes in BSc, Accounting and Finance (Hons), BSc Economics and Management (Hons) and Bachelors in Law, LLB (Hons) further expanding its educational services to the local students’ base who wish to obtain a prestigious degree.

Academic direction for BSc Accounting and Finance and BSc Economics and Management degrees are provided by its lead college London School of Economics which is one of the most renowned universities in the world, amongst the top 5 universities in UK.

Academic direction for the LLB degree is provided by few constituent institutions of University of London including King’s College, London School of Economics, University College London, and Queen Mary University of London.

Knowledge Conglomerate launches Executive Education

The Knowledge Conglomerate, an independent subsidiary of MTI Consulting dedicated to knowledge based businesses in Sri Lanka, has announced the launch of their executive Education Series.

The knowledge Conglomerate is intent to high performance knowledge-based business in Sri Lanka.

The concept believes knowledge-based business will grow in size, importance and dominance and offers exciting, high potential opportunities to functional specialists, young corporate entrepreneurs and inventors looking for blue oceans and green fields.

MTI Consulting, levering on its equity and strengths, has setup The Knowledge Conglomerate as an independent entity and will progress the subsidiary units through business planning and process establishment.

The target audience for the Executive Education program willideally be the corporate sector. Exec-Ed is comprised of six eminent corporate figures; among which three are Sri Lankans who have led numbers of organizations with their skill, talent and judgment, the rest are international professionals of high caliber.

The program will be starting with Deepal Sooriyaarachchi’s workshop on July 9, under a timely topic, “Leading your Business in Challenging Times”.

He is the Management Development Consultant and the former MD of AVIVA NDB, the Commissioner cum Chairman at Sri Lanka Inventors Commission.

The second workshop will be conducted by Asanka De Silva who is a professional expert on branding on August 6.

He will be sharing his knowledge and experience under the course title; “Brand Management Based on International Case Studies.”

He counts over 12 years of cutting-edge brand experience with the likes of John West, Typhoo Tea, Chartered Brands (in the UK), Coke, Reckitts and MTI Consulting (in Sri Lanka) and he became the winner of Scotland’s ‘Young Marketer of the Year’ 2007.

The third workshop will be conducted on August 18, by Imal Fonseka, under the course heading, “Leading Organizations for Results” which would be of immeasurable value to the would be CEO’s.

He is the Managing Director of CBL (Foods) and former MD of Hemas Consumer.

He counts over 20 years with Chevron, GSK, Coke, Unilever and JWT across 10 Asian and Middle Eastern markets. He obtained his executive education at Wharton and Kellog Business Schools.

The three foreign speakers who will be vising Sri Lanka to participate to the Executive Education program will insert their international corporate experience and will make this event a complete Executive Education program.
