| The Western Provincial Health
Ministry distributed 10 ambulances among hospitals in the
Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara districts at a ceremony
presided by Provincial Health Minister Jagath Angage at the
office of the Western Provincial Director of Health Services
yesterday. Here, Minister Angage handing over the key and
documents pertaining to an ambulance to a representative of
a hospital. Provincial Council Member Sumith Zoysa and
Provincial Director of Health Services Dr Amal Harsha de
Silva also participated. The hospitals which received the
ambulances were Avissawella Base Hospital, Wetara District
Hospital, Talangama District Hospital, Gampaha District
General Hospital, Kiribathgoda Base Hospital, Wathupitiwala
Base Hospital, Negombo Base Hospital, Panadura Base
Hospital, Matugama District Hospital and the Ittepana
