Minister sues Lanka Irida

The defamation case filed by Agrarian Services and Wildlife Minister S M Chandrasiri against Lanka Irida newspaper, seeking Rs 50 million as damages was taken up at the District Court,Nugegoda yesterday. The defendants were the editor and publisher of the newspaper.

The plaintiff was represented by Attorney at law Chandra Kumara de Silva.
