Teams to maintain unbeaten streak at Kandy

The two remaining unbeaten school teams this season will be seen in
action in the hill capital tomorrow when three schools 'A' division
rugby matches will be played at three different venues.
At the Bogambara stadium, table leaders Royal College should go out
favourites in their match against Kingswood College who are lying eighth
in the table, with a solitary win in five matches. As matters stand,
they are not in danger of being demoted to the lower division.
At the Trinity College rugby stadium at Pallekele, Trinity College
will play hosts to St Joseph's College, Colombo who registered their
first win in the tournament against Kingswood College at Pallekele last
week.
It is going to be Trinity's three quarters against the Josephians
eight. Though the Lions go out favourites, they will be up against a
very heavy Josephian pack, led by No 8 Yohan Keyser who in the last
outing played as a prop.
The third match will be at Nittawela where St Anthony's College will
take on the unbeaten St Peter's College and the visitors should have no
difficulty in chalking up their sixth successive win.
If the Peterites win by a big margin with a glut of tries they will
have a chance of climbing to the top of the table, as just 0.50 point
separate the Royalists and the Peterites.
Both Royal College and St Peter's College are not in danger of losing
their unbeaten record as they will be meeting weaker opposition. |
