Energy saving drive bears fruit
The people must pay attention to electricity
efficiency. The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) had 4.5 million
electricity consumers in 2011 and it has increased to 7.5 million
this year. The country's maximum electricity requirement is limited
to 2100 megawatts, said Power and Energy Minister Patali Champika
Ranawaka.
