Danfoss to explore Lanka's potential

Danfoss Industries Pvt Ltd , well known brand for mechanical and
electronic components and solutions and a subsidiary of Denmark based
Danfoss Group said it is ready to explore business opportunities with
leading corporations to support the development of various growing
industries specially cold storage, canning, renewable energy sources,
tourism and others in Sri Lanka.

"We have identified Sri Lanka as a potential market for Danfoss
products.The process food industry and dairy industry in Sri Lanka have
witnessed a considerable growth and there will be a good demand for cold
storage /cold chains which in turn increases the demand for variable
frequently drives, industrial refrigeration products, condensing units
and controllers."
Danfoss Industries Pvt Ltd President Noel Ryan says with its
associated partner, C.W Mackie, Danfoss expects to have a good growth in
Sri Lanka. A lot of construction activities are taking place in the
country and dairy is showing some signs of growth , those kind of
activities will need higher energy needs and Danfoss as a energy company
is focused on providing sustainable solutions to the market; all of
Danfoss products and technologies are focused on designing and producing
equipments which allows customers to consume less energy.
Commenting on the increasing energy price in Sri Lanka, Ryan said
that government and relevant authorities need to explore smart
specifications continually introducing star system for energy such as
A,B,C, D for the equipment and pushing the ratings, this will help to
produce more capacities with less energy consumption. |
