Police busts prostitution ring

Police yesterday stumbled on a massive prostitution ring that employed underage girls, following the arrest of two foreigners and a woman in Hikkaduwa.

The prostitution racket was bared by the Police when two foreigners with a woman were arrested over the alleged abuse of an underage girl in a hotel in Hikkaduwa.

According to Police Spokesman SP Ajith Rohana, Hikkaduwa Police made the arrest yesterday morning. The suspects were to be produced before the Galle magistrate.

He said the victim is a resident of Onthachimadam.
