NSB Chairman Pradeep Kariyawasam resignes

National Savings Bank (NSB) Chairman Pradeep Kariyawasam has tendered his resignation to President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the Treasury Secretary Dr P B Jayasudera with immediate effect.

Speaking to Daily News Business NSB Chairman Pradeep Kariyawasam said that he has tendered a lengthy resignation letter explaining the situation.

“I will soon make a statement to the media,” he said.
