An architecture student, Tharusha hails from Kandy with the province?s traditional norms and cultural beliefs. While being extremely ambitious she initially refuses Vishal?s emotions towards her, however later on she faces the change in her heart when she accepts Vishal as her boy friend. Vishal provides her the glimpse of the norms in the city.

A passionate artist and boxer, Vishal is 25 years old, following his 2nd year of Architectural studies. He lives with his upper-class family in Colombo City.

Akalanka is the free spirited best friend of Vishal.

A genuine friend, he is the pillar of strength in supporting Vishal?s emotions and winning Tharusha?s heart. The best friend of Tharusha, Aruni is a westernized urban girl who understands the emotions and barriers faced by Tharusha.

Piyavi surrounds the fresh andÿenergeticÿuniversity college life in Colombo City, with a group of aspiring youth studying 2ndÿYear of Degree in Architecture.

Vishal, a symbol ofÿmodernÿyouth falls head over heals when he first saw Tharusha who is studying in the same batch, since then deeply being in love, tries to capture her heart while he fails several times.

Along with his helpful best-buddy Akalanka, ÿVishal eventually attracts her heart. However Tharusha is confused with herÿemotionsÿas she is a traditional Kandyan with similar cultural beliefs and norms, thereby harshly refusing Vishal?s love. Thankful to their friends Akalanka and Aruni, Tharusha eventually approves Vishal?s love towards her.
