Home Lands Holding opens seven properties in different locations simultaneously

Home Lands Holding (Pvt) Ltd, a well known name in Sri Lankan real estate industry created a major sensation when they simultaneously opened out seven properties in different locations last week.

This included a total of 177 blocks and was the first real estate company in Sri Lanka to do so. These prime locations were at Kahathuduwa, Athurugiriya, Piliyandala, Homagama, Kesbewa, Ragama and Matara.

"These lands had clear title deeds, three phase electricity, water supply, wide concrete roads and drains and the flexibility of easy payment terms," said Home Lands Holding Pvt Ltd Managing Director Nalin Herath.

Home Lands is one of the leading real estate companies in Sri Lanka.

"Real estate business in Sri Lanka involves trust. Apart from money invested and it takes a company really hard and professional work to turn out as the leading company in the field. With Colombo city and its immediate suburbs getting more crowded, the trend is now moving into the outskirts, with the possibility to have some green space around and at a comparatively cheap price.

"With the new outer circular highway that would link the Southern highway to other proposed highways to Kandy and Katunayake express way now getting off the ground, the demand is shifting to areas that has closer access to these highways," he added.
