Networkxx opens second overseas centre in Sri Lanka

To train IT professionals for Cisco certifications:

India's fastest-growing institute preparing IT professionals for global challenges, Networxx, has opened its second overseas centre in Colombo after Dubai.

Networxx, founded in 2011 by serial entrepreneur Naveen Gupta of Ideacount Education fame and the world's leading master trainer and penta-CCIE and CCDE, Khawar Butt, is aiming at pan-India presence with centres in 20 major locations already in place.

“Cisco Certified Internetworking Experts (CCIE) is the most-sought after qualification the world over in the wake of growing dependence of organizations on fast, dependable and secure networking to ensure seamless communication and deliver of services to their customers,” said Khawar Butt, Chairman, Networxx.

“We have also tied up with another world's leading training company, IPexperts Inc, USA, to further strengthen the delivery of our training which will prepare world-class next generation of IT specialists,” Khawar Butt added.

There are approximately 22,000 CCIEs worldwide whereas the proliferation of computers and digital communication penetrating every segment of operations in every country, more and more experts are required in this field, he said.

Naveen Gupta, managing Director, Networxx, said that the company has entered into a strategic tie up with another global leader in Cisco-certification training , IPexpert Inc, of USA, to give a clear edge to the students through sharing of knowledge, expertise, as well as the self-study content.

In the current financial year, Networxx has planned to set up 40 centres including India, the Middle-East, and Africa, Naveen Gupta added.

The job opportunities for Cisco-certified experts in networking and data security is on the increase and is held in high esteem in global IT and networking industries for their prowess in deploying, managing and trouble-shooting complex networking scenarios, Khawar Butt said.

Computer networking is considered to be one of the best and hottest career fields available today.

“This field is fast and dynamic, the technology changes every six months. Therefore, there is a requiremnet of the professionals who are updated to the latest technology and knowledge of the field, and have an internationally recognized certification to make careers anywhere in the world,” said Dr Khawar Butt, the master trainer and Penta CCIE, and co-founder of Networxx.

With growing internet penetration and dependence on network to connect people within and outside an organization, there is growing dearth of trained professionals, Butt added.
