Russia's 2004 Olympics long jump silver medalist Irina Meleshina was banned for two years on Tuesday by the Russian Athletics Federation after she tested positive for testosterone. “The banned substance testosterone was found in Irina Meleshina's sample, taken from the sportswoman in testing outside competition on February 7, 2012,” the All-Russia Athletics Federation said in a statement on its website. Meleshina, 29, has been disqualified for two years starting from February 21, the Federation said. AFP
