Players from all around the world are chosen for football leagues
located in various countries depending on their playing skills and
International player performances. They have been commended by many as
great players who submit their hearts and souls to their teams. Careful
selections have been made as to which team will buy the players, and
today we see the popularity of these players rising due to their Premier
League exposure. This section focuses on such recognized players and
gives an in-depth of their successful careers.
WAYNE ROONEY
An English International, Wayne felt at home in Old Trafford, where
he moulded his playing career. The young lad joined Manchester United in
2004, after a transfer from Everton, the club he joined when he was just
nine. The football pro has been regarded as England's best ever
footballer, and contributes to United in the same way every week, being
part of the team's first eleven.
Rooney has been precise so far in scoring his goals, and United
Manager Sir Alex Ferguson has no plan whatsoever to sell the goal
machine! Rooney is also currently one of the leading scorers of the
English Premier League, just behind Arsenal's Robin Van Persie.
Rooney was declared the youngest ever English to enter the main
International, but this record was later broken by Arsenal's Theo
Walcott. The International team is indebted to Rooney for his excellent
passes and indescribable goals. However, though Rooney maintains a good
playing career internationally, he is second only to Beckham in
receiving red cards, having been sent off with two.
He has joined England for the 2006 and 2010 World Cups respectively.
He has also achieved high comments in 2008 at the UEFA EURO league and
is currently on his way to fitness for the UEFA EURO 2012. The Barclays
Premier League has credited Rooney for his great football skills by
awarding him with the Premier League Footballer of the month several
times.
Rooney has been an inspiration to many young footballers with his
International performances, and is a Manchester United Hero who is
worthy of being looked upto. The team has benefited from 'Wazza', who is
also the penalty scorer for the side. Rooney is also a favourite of Sir
Alex Ferguson's, and has been eyed by football professionals from all
around the world, including England Manager Fabio Capello.
The 2010 World Cup displayed Rooney's playing abilities though
England failed to impress. He was a much desired player during the
tournament and contributed vastly even though there was practically no
hope for the red-and-white side. His Captain too had commented that he
was an amazing player who deserved much glory. In the Premier League,
Wayne's passes are irresistible to watch and they are one of the reasons
for United's undying glory and victory. The pro has been an example to
the United Youth Team, who are now climbing to greater heights in search
of victory.
Rooney has adapted himself to suit any football background. He enjoys
his time in the English Premier League, for experts say it is the
World's Best Premier League and treats players just the way they ought
to be treated-with gentle care. Rooney has indeed opened the pathway for
Manchester United to reach their next milestone-their 20th Premier
League Trophy. |
