Golf tourneys worked off successfully

During this festive season the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club saw a crowd of golfers drawn into this holiday resort including foreigners and locals where a number of golf events were conducted.

The President of the Club Vernon Tissera and the Young and Energetic Secretary Rienzie Perera and other officials made all arrangements, towards keeping the 90-acre Golf Course in splendid conditions. In the course of his short address the President of the Club recalled that this club which is 122 years old has maintained its glory and will continue to do so.
