Sun Match Company csr programme
A large gathering of needy people in Hingurakgoda area received the
gift of improved vision through Eye lenses from Sun Match Co., (Pvt)
Ltd. under the policy of the Company in carrying out regular CSR
programmes.

At a ceremony held at the Auditorium of Ananda Balika Vidyalaya, Sun
Match Company (Pvt.) Ltd., donated Spectacles to a large number of less
privileged people costing the Company over Rs 1.5 million. This occasion
was graced by the Minister of Health Maithripala Sirisena.
At this eye Campaign organized by Sun Match Company, 500 people from
the area were given spectacles while at the same time 57 people were
directed for surgery at Kandy Hospital for removal of cataract.
This charity campaign was conducted under the direction of the
Marketing Director Ms. Gowri Rajan of Sun Match Company (Pvt) Ltd. and
was organized by the External Resource Coordinator, Senaka Upatissa of
Sun Match Co., Ltd. Hingurakgoda, for the benefit of the people in the
area. |
