Fined Rs 50,000 each

Two persons in the Lenadora area were arrested by the Dambulla police with 12,000 mgs of ganja in their possession.

They were produced before Dambulla acting magistrate Rathnasena Ranasingha who fined them Rs 50,000 each and postponed the case till April 18.

SJC OBU Family Mass

The monthly family mass organized by the Batch of '81 of St. Joseph's College Old Boys Union will be held on April 22 commencing at 8.15 am followed by fellowship and breakfast. All Old Joes and their families are invited to participate in this event.

New Year celebrations 2012

The Maharagama Vidyakara Vidyalaya Past Pupils Association announces their yearly New Year celebrations will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012 from 8.30 am at the Pamunuwa Polwatta Sports Academy grounds. Many traditional games along with special events of fun and entertainment would be held on this day.
