Army Commander Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya paid a courtesy call on Malaysian Army Chief General Zulkifli Haji Zainal Abidin at his office and exchanged pleasantries and views on bilateral importance and interest on Monday. At the end of the meeting, Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya presented a memento to his Malaysian counterpart. Army Commander Lieutenant General Jayasuriya also called on the Australian Army Chief yesterday. The Army Commander is in Malaysia to attend the Defence Services Asia 2012; the 13th Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference. Defence Service Chiefs from over 45 countries and companies producing military hardware are attending the conference. The conference organised by the Defence Services of Malaysia is regarded as one of the best and well-attended forum of military professionals, drawn from both the West and far East.
