PS Opp politico arrested

Akuressa Pradeshiya Sabha Opposition politician had been arrested yesterday in connection with an accident which had occurred on March 22 in Akuressa.

The Police Media Unit had revealed that while riding a motorbike he had allegedly knocked down an elderly woman pedestrian.

He had been produced at the Matara Magistrate's Court yesterday. The woman was still undergoing treatment.
