An incident

That day was a rainy day and I had not taken an umbrella with me. It was raining heavily and it was almost dark. After school, I was standing at the bus stand thinking how I could find a way of going home.

I heard someone speaking to me and I turned back to see who it was. She was a strange girl named Chapa. She told me that she had a friend who lived close to the bus stand. Her name was Maya. Both of us decided to go to Maya's house and get two umbrella's for us. We ran to Maya's home in the rain, as we opened the gate we saw a big dog rushing towards us. I was able to come out and close the gate, but the strange girl Chapa fell down while she was running. The dog attacked her and she and I shouted loudly for help.

Maya's father came rushing towards us and was able to take the dog into the house. Chapa was badly injured. I informed her parents about the incident. Chapa's parents rushed to the hospital and took care of her. When I went home my mother had already sent my brother in search of me. I related the story to my mother.
