Employment service centre opens

Productivity Promotion Minister Lakshman Seneviratne and International Labour Organization Country Director Donglin Li opening the National Employment Service Centre in Colombo.

The Colombo district National Employment Service Centre which comes under the purview of the Manpower and Employment Department of Productivity Promotion Ministry was opened at No. 38, High Level Road, Nugegoda under the patronage of Productivity Promotion Minister Lakshman Seneviratne on Tuesday.

The centre aims to support the both government and private sectors job seekers to find job opportunities.

Youths can register in the National Employment Service Centre. It will forward job seekers applications to institutions while considering their qualifications. The Productivity Promotion Ministry will establish Employment Service Centres to provide an efficient service for the public in all divisional secretariats.
