MYANMAR: Democracy champion Aung San Suu Kyi's
party won almost all the seats it contested in Myanmar elections,
becoming the main opposition force in the national parliament,
official results showed Tuesday.

NATO deaths in Afghanistan pass 100 for 2012
AFGHANISTAN: The number of NATO troops killed in
Afghanistan so far this year has passed 100, according to an AFP
count on Wednesday based on the independent icasualties.org website.
The icasualties total for 2012 stood at 98 but the NATO-led
International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Kabul has over the
past two days announced four deaths, taking the total to over 100.
