Special bus service for home-bound

The Sri Lanka Transport Broad (SLCTB) will operate a special bus service during the Sinhala and Tamil New Year season for passengers to travel to their villages.

Transport Deputy Minister Rohana Kumara Dissanayake told the Daily News that they will launch special bus services from the Central bus stand in Pettah from today to April 17 to various parts of the country to help people get home for the New Year.

The deputy minister added that1,560 additional buses will be deployed in addition to the normal services operated daily.
