Sylvestrians in close win

A sixth wicket stand of 89 between Harsha Madushan 44 (5 fours) and
Sumedha Dissanayake 54 (6 fours) helped St Sylvesters College to post a
one wicket win over Devananda College, Ambalangoda in their schools
under 19 limited over cricket tournament match played at St Anthony's
College grounds, Katugastota yesterday.
When this pair came to the wicket the Sylvestrians were struggling at
61 for 5 and through some careful batting they took the score to 150
before Sumedha Dissanayake was dismissed.
Of the later batsmen Indunil Samarananda (29) and Dhanujaya
Hettiarachchi 39 batted well for the Sylvestrians to post victory in the
47th over.
Devananda College 199 all out in 46.3 overs (Lakshitha Sirimanne 50,
Gehan Madusanka 41, Dinesh Udaganga 28, Sumedha Dissanayake 3 for 28,
Indunil Samarananda 2 for 25, Waruna Wijesinghe 2 for 43).
St Sylvesters College 201 for 9 wickets in 47.4 overs (Sumedha
Dissanayake 54, Harsha Madushan 44, Dhanujaya Hettiarachchi 39, Indunil
