Boxing coaches camp a success

All Island Boxing coaching camp organized by the Sri Lanka Boxing Coaching Association was held on March 10 and 11, 2012 where 52 coaches including seven women attended.

It was sponsored by MAS Group and the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony was 1980 Asian Games Boxer W U S J Sumanaweera. Chief Guest at the closing ceremony was 1968 Empire Games Boxer G A S Gunasinghe. Coaches from all over the Island from the three Armed Forces ie Police, Army and Navy and Central Province, Northern Province, Western Province, Southern Province, Uva Province and also from University of Peradeniya attended this two day programme.
