Five children injured in grenade blast

Five children were injured when a hand grenade exploded at Selvanagar, Kilinochchi on Saturday morning. The injured children admitted to Kilinochchi Hospital are in a stable condition.

Investigations have revealed that the grenade exploded while they were playing with the object being unaware that it was an explosive device. The Police and the Army are investigating.
