Awards for Excellence in commercial forestry industry

Sadaharitha forestry awards, the annual award ceremony of Sadaharitha Plantation Ltd was held at the Galle Face hotel with the participation of a large gathering headed by its Chairman Sathis Nawarathna.

Employees of all divisions including marketing who excelled during the year 2011 was felicitated at this ceremony. Addressing the gathering chairman of Sadaharitha Sathis Nawarathna said that he was happy and proud to have started environmental friendly business venture which offers investor the opportunity to yield high returns on their investment compared to other investment opportunities available while protecting the environment we live in. Further he emphasized on the trust placed by customers and the contribution made by it?s employees which attributed to steady growth of the company over the last few years.

In addition chief executive director H.K.Rohana and Senior Lecturer of Department of Forestry and Environment Science at Sri Jayawardhanapura University and the forestry consultant of Sadaharitha Dr.Upul Subasinghe addressed the gathering.

Sadaharitha Currently has many plantation projects such as Mahogany, Rambutan , Teak and Sandalwood well spreads across the country and also have created job opportunities for over 500 people. Its marketing division consist of a branch network and a premier division which focus on the high net worth along with its' international arm Premier Global. Apart from commercial forestry Sadaharitha group has diversified it's operations in tea export, vegetable and fruit export and water management in large scale.
