Air India conducts road show in Jaffna
For the first time in the history of aviation a road show will be
conducted by India's national carrier Air India on the streets of Jaffna
today. Air India's personnel will be interacting with the citizens of
Jaffna by making an appeal to experience "New" Air India. Team Air India
will be in Jaffna to spread the message of the growing stature of the
airline with wide network. They will also appraise Jaffna citizens about
privileges and the facilities that Air India has on offer for passengers
who wish to travel.
Team Air India will be distributing car stickers and leaflets on this
occasion. Air India currently operates six flights a week from Colombo
to Chennai with connections to all main cities in India and
International connections to Toronto, New York, Chicago, London,
Frankfurt, Paris and many destinations in Middle East and the Far East.
All Air India's flights to US and Canada are non-stop from Delhi. The
service includes daily flights from Delhi to New York, Chicago and
Toronto. The passengers travelling from Colombo can transit through Air
India's hub at Delhi and will be able to clear customs and immigration
at their final destination.
Air India is India's national carrier and the largest airline that
has been operating on India-Sri Lanka route for more than 50 years.
